Dear Colleagues:

MEDLI is now looking for candidates to run for officer positions for the term beginning in July 2015.  Now is your chance to get involved!

The following positions are available:

Vice-President/President Elect:
The MEDLI Vice President/President Elect is second in line of authority after the MEDLI President and acts as chair of the Program Committee for one year. The following year, the Vice President/President Elect is President of the organization.

The MEDLI Treasurer serves a two-year term and is charged with collecting all dues and with paying all bills and shall account for all funds.

Still waiting for Angry Birds to impact libraries? Tired of your offspring working your phone or tablet better than you? Even if you aren’t “mobilized,” this webinar provides an overview of both basic skills and sources from which apps impacting health sciences information service can be identified. This webinar will examine the current mobile environment, how library services evolve to meet increasing demand for mobile resources, considerations for mobile app evaluation, and ideas for teaching mobile apps to library users.

If you cannot attend the group viewing on April 14th, LILRC will be offering on-demand viewing for a limited time following the group viewing. You must be registered for this program in order to get access to the on-demand viewing.
